We have chosen the following 3 charities as we feel that they all carry out invaluable work for people who have been diagnosed with cancer, and the families and friends of those people. We feel that the 3 complement eachother very well, as they all cover different aspects of research and support.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They carry out world-class research to improve the understanding of cancer and find out how to prevent, diagnose, and treat different kinds of the disease.

Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity

The Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity offers therapeutic support and development to men, women and their supporters following a cancer diagnosis. The aim of the Charity is to establish a network of centres and services to support people from the time of their diagnosis.

Trinity Hospice

Trinity Hospice provides care for people with advanced illnesses within their homes or at the hospice. Trinity also provides bereavement counselling for people close to patients and comprehensive education and training programmes for health and social care professionals.
